It's all divine, you know—all of it. From the moment a human is conceived, they are miraculous. And, since we live in these bodies and spend so much time with one another, we become blinded. We lose sight of the divine nature of the people around us. Of ourselves.
Education is about deepening our relationship with the world that our Creator formed. If we're quiet and curious for long enough, if we get out of our own heads and stop thinking about our wants for long enough, we can see His hand in everything. We can feel his love in a breeze. We can see it in a stranger's eyes. We can marvel at the intricacies of the most unassuming, out-of-the-way bits of nature if we just quiet ourselves enough to give them our respect. That's where true inspiration, creativity, and growth come from. Education is not just about the mind. What the mind gains is a side effect. Education is about the soul finding itself in the world around it. We'll never know anything outside of God's design. Even the latest technology draws inspiration from the ultimate creator, YHWH.
"Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me." ~ Matthew 18 : 3-5
The children are precious, and they are close to God, but God has no grandchildren. Parents, teachers, and all community members hold the same space in the Lord's heart. Education is about openness. Education is about living in relationship. Education is love.
I thank God for calling us into this community to pursue the understanding of His design, for His glory, in His love.
